About Oui can talk
I’m Océane Barthere, a French expat psychologist currently practicing in Delft and The Hague. My journey has led me to cultivate a therapeutic approach that is both diverse and integrative, drawing inspiration from systemic psychology. My foundation in psychology comes from the University of Lyon II.
Back in France, my focus was on assisting children, teenagers, and families as they navigated through a wide range of challenges. From internal struggles to learning and developmental obstacles.
Life took an unexpected turn when I embarked on my expatriation journey to the Netherlands. This change of scenery brought new dimensions to my understanding of human experiences, deepened my therapeutic practice and led me to establish my private practice.
As a mother of two, I intimately understand the impact of life’s events. Motherhood has given me profound insights into the importance of balance and adjustment.
I offer a variety of therapeutic services to address a wide range of needs:
Child & Adolescent Therapy: Providing a safe space for young minds to explore emotions, build resilience, and develop coping skills.
Adult Therapy: Guiding individuals through life’s challenges, fostering personal growth, and emotional well-being.
Parents Support: Recognising the challenges that come with parenthood, whether you are already a parent or going to be.
Family Therapy: Facilitating open communication and understanding within families, resolving conflicts and building stronger connections.
How do I work ?
Considering a conversation with a psychologist can offer a range of benefits for various aspects of life. I mostly work with talking therapy, in one-on-one setting as well as couples, families, or groups. I provide a neutral and nonjudgmental space for clients to express themselves, explore their thoughts and emotions, set goals, and work toward positive changes in their lives. Therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more.
Talk therapy can take various forms, and therapists use different approaches and techniques depending on the needs of the individual. I use systemic therapy, schema therapy as well as psychodynamic therapy.
